MC's Painting and Decorating took Abrasive Blasting to a new level with the adoption of Sponge Blasting technology in the early 2000s. Sponge Blasting incorporates various different types of media that allows the cleaning process to be optimized for a variety of surfaces ranging from delicate substrates to steel. Sponge blasting uses air-propelled, water-based polyurethane foam, allowing material to be removed while minimizing the amount of airborne particles.
